so I have a iPhone 13, and got it in saltwater and it has a cracked back. its not old at all, and not the first time its been in water. but I turned it on and it froze and shutdown and is overheating what do I do?

You destroyed you phone and it is not repairable. You will have to buy a new phone as Apple won't touch your phone to try to repair it. Don't try to use. Don't try to charge it. Keep it powered off and recycle the phone at either an Apple Store, or any electronics store which will recycle it for you.

Yes, put it outside and away from anything flammable.
I also put it in the fridge to stop it form overheating...... still won't turn on.
the question is does it poses a risk now because its not stopping from getting hot?
