Converting vinyl to digital through Audacity worked well on my previous 12 yo macair but says not appropriate for a new macair M3 with OS Sequoia 15.3 - any suggestions as to what app to use please?

As I pointed out Audacity works perfectly well with macOS 15.3. The app in the iPhone app store has nothing to do with the Mac app which is NOT in the Mac app store. You must download the Mac version from Audacity’s website

Where are you seeing this “not appropriate” message. I am running Audacity on my Apple Silicon Mac Studio with macOS 15.3 and absolutely no issues.
First, make sure you are on the very latest version of Audacity which is 3.7.1.0 updated 12/24/24.
Thank you for your quick response. When I look in the App Store to download Audacity it doesn't show as a Mac App - then when I use the iPhone & iPad toggle it shows "not verified for macOS" Could it be that Audacity hasn't been updated for Sequoia yet?
