How to connect 2 external monitors and iPad for a 3-screen setup?

I have an iPad 11 pro M2. Is it possible to hook up 2 external monitors and the iPad so I have 3 screens to portray 3 different pages? If so, how do I do it.

iPad can mirror to only one external display. iPadOS provides no support for two or more external displays.

iPad models with M-series CPU also have the ability to use an extended desktop to the external display using the iPadOS Stage Manager feature. Stage Manager effectively allows you to have Apps (or App windows) distributed between the iPad and external screen (so you have two screens) - as you might with a Windows PC or Mac.

What equipment? You'll need computer that supports multiple displays - such as an Apple Mac computer.

To be absolutely clear, iPadOS and the iPad's internal hardware does not support connection of multiple external displays. There are no third-party docks or adapters that can change this fundamental limitation. An iPad, in addition to its own display, can drive a single external monitor.

The best that you can achieve is to use the iPad with one external display - and use the iPadOS Stage Manager feature (where supported by the iPad) to use both the iPad and external monitor as independent screens. This effectively provides a dual-head display environment.

Not every Mac computer, at that.

One should always read Technical Specifications before one buys.

At what juncture did I suggest that all Mac computers had this capability? A Mac was merely an illustration of a computer that may be able to provide this capability - this perhaps being a fitting example within the Apple Support Community.

One might similarly suggest using a [cough] Windows PC - that often offers considerably more flexibility in support of external hardware and multi-head configurations.

As to verifying specifications, I have no argument whatsoever. 🙂

I didn't say that you made that suggestion.

However, we are talking about a thread where an OP asked how to get a three-screen setup to work with an iPad. This suggests that the OP did not read the Technical Specifications for the iPad, which were available before the OP purchased it. The OP even asked "So what equipment do I need for 3 screen display?" after you had clearly answered the question.

That suggests that the OP needs to be a little more aware of the need to check specifications in the future.

More aware than the people who bought Mac notebooks with plain M1 and M2 chips, and then started threads in the Mac forums complaining that they couldn't get their machines to work with two external displays.
