How can I mute group FaceTime call notifications?

Why isn’t there some sort of way to mute group facetime calls. I was added to call months ago and they ring the call EVERYDAY. There is a group chat but leaving the group chat would solve any issues considering there are multiple calls that these people make, all they have to do is ring the call from the call logs. I can’t have my phone on DND all the time, i don’t want to completely turn off facetime notifications. Definitely an issue that needs to be addressed or I’m just unaware of simple solution. Help

me please

First , it depends on if you start the Group FaceTime call from the FaceTime app or from a group conversation on the Messages app .

Second , in order for a person to leave the call , they need to end the Group FaceTime on their own device .

Third , when adding someone to a call , you can tap Ring next to their name so that their device alerts them again of the incoming call .
