Its frustrating when you're in the middle of some important work and your laptop gives up on you with no warnings this is being happening to me since 2-3 weeks or so and I have not been able to find an answer! My battery health is 92 percent and my machine says it's in Normal Condition.
what should I do to get the battery notification back!
is this some software issue that'll be fixed with updates?

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you help optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.
I would not count on a warning dialogue...
