Apple Invites app not working for kids' Apple IDs

Our kids are not able to use the app to send or receive invites. They use their apple IDs.

Please clarify why it doesnt work

Strange error message appears.

Creation of events not available

"you used a children account and this means you can't create. You can recieve events"

Serious? :(

Why should it be prevented to have a 13 year old child to send invites for friends/contacts?

If there are issues, contact Apple Support. getsupport.apple.com

Apple specifically lists:

iOS 18 or later

Collaboration with playlists requires Apple Music subscription

Anyone can reply to invitations. Creation requires an active iCloud+ subscription.

It may be possible that somme functionality is limited for children under 13.
