Apple School Manager: Downloading a new MDM server token will reset your existing one.

Our current setup has ASM and Intune synced, and we already have an active enrollment token in Intune. I’d like to add a new enrollment token from Intune for testing purposes without affecting the current setup. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

- Created a new token

- Downloaded the token from Intune

- Created a new location (following this post: LINK)

- Created a new MDM server and uploaded the PEM file from Intune

However, when I try to download the MDM server token from ASM, I get this error: "Downloading a new MDM server token will reset your existing one."

I don’t want to disrupt the current setup; I just want to create a testing environment. Do you have any advice on how to resolve this issue without resetting the current token? I followed the steps for adding a new location, as mentioned in the post: LINK

Is there any difference between ASM and ABM in this case?

Yes, I already created a new MDM in Apple School Manager, uploaded the PEM file from Intune, and when I clicked the "Download MDM Server Token" button, that warning message popped up saying:

Downloading a new MDM server token will reset your existing one.
After downloading a new MDM server token, you will need to upload it to your MDM server.

If you are downloading the token for this MDM server for the first time and the MDM server linked with Intune previously was a different one, you can ignore this message, go ahead and download the token, set up ADE token. Make sure you have 2 separate MDM servers in ABM, thats it.
