Family account is managed by hohappleid…?

I have same thing my family is managed by “hohappleid” I don’t even have family sharing turned on! If I start family sharing as main member it goes away but if I turn off family sharing it comes back after couple of minutes “hohappleid” is controlling my family account!

i just noticed this too. among many other things since mid august 2024. the Ios is compromised and is being ran/managed by using a hidden MDM platform through proxy servers. likely your ios interface you are seeing is shi**ty clone of 18.**. i've been through routers, computers and phones. this day and age there are many zero click exploits going around. don't listen to the people saying it costs 500,000 dollars for one ..... do some research... unfortunately there is no fix. learn to live with it.

I have it there too. This is a new device I’m using however all my other homes devices are under MDM despite being personal devices. My whole network is hacked basically. I used to have a lot of denial of service attacks however getting the Fido fingerprint keys has helped a lot with that however still being managed bane of my life

1. I don’t have family sharing nor do I have a child account!! Look at your contacts in editing too!!

Has anyone figured out the response to why we are getting managed hohappleid yet? I’ve tried everything and I have no clue I’m still not getting a reply from Apple either

same, doing a factory set on the router will not do anything especially if setting it back up with a compromised device. but given all the factory resets i've done with my phones, computers, tvs, thermostats, doubt it would work. The partitions that hold the preboot files have been compromised and while you are booting up, your device is also contacting a malicious proxy server. There's no way around it. people will say don't jailbreak.... i'm sure you didn't as I did not either. best thing we can do is document and try to post where you can...

Yes I get this too…And when you try to delete contacts (I’ve been through a few phones and Apple IDs because of this issue but still, it just throws out permission denied.

Same thing here, I’m also seeing ‘hohappleID’ under country/region in the App Store, but I’m not in a Family Sharing group. When I go to Family Sharing in settings, it just gives me the option to set it up so I’m confused about why it says my region is managed. I’ve tried signing out and back into my Apple ID, but it’s still there. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

Agree hundred percent I’ve done and found out all the same myself… Ive often seen “ your screen is being observed” on my Mac too 🫣

I have also been dealing with this same issue forever now. I have been through many devices and new accts and I can’t get rid of it. Apple has attempted to assist me an all they have done is had me factory reset my phone which seemed to make it worse. I am 100% sure my screen is constantly being watched as my passwords are constantly compromised and my find my and locations are constantly being turned on after I turn them off. I am sorry everyone is dealing with this also but glad it’s not just me. People make me feel like I’m losing my mind lol
