Family account is managed by hohappleid…?

Question: When I go into Media and Purchases and view my account (on iPhone 12), it shows that if I want to change my country, it’s managed by a Family account: hohappleid… I don’t want to change my country, but I’m concerned about how it’s controlled by a Family account…and what is hohappleid? Have only discovered one other post regarding this, and it was the same id name, a few days ago:(

Thanks so much!

There is nothing to fix. HOH stands for Head of Household and is a standard term used to describe the person in the Apple Family group that is often referred to as the Organizer. All Apple is saying is that the organizer’s (HOH) Apple ID controls the region of the group.

Apple has a rule that all members of the Family Sharing Group must be in the same country or region. What your seeing is an explanation under the setting to change country/region, that the Head of Household (Apple Family Sharing group) Apple ID controls the country setting and other group members can’t change the setting. Everything is working the way it’s supposed to.

same, doing a factory set on the router will not do anything especially if setting it back up with a compromised device. but given all the factory resets i've done with my phones, computers, tvs, thermostats, doubt it would work. The partitions that hold the preboot files have been compromised and while you are booting up, your device is also contacting a malicious proxy server. There's no way around it. people will say don't jailbreak.... i'm sure you didn't as I did not either. best thing we can do is document and try to post where you can...

Same thing here, I’m also seeing ‘hohappleID’ under country/region in the App Store, but I’m not in a Family Sharing group. When I go to Family Sharing in settings, it just gives me the option to set it up so I’m confused about why it says my region is managed. I’ve tried signing out and back into my Apple ID, but it’s still there. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

i just noticed this too. among many other things since mid august 2024. the Ios is compromised and is being ran/managed by using a hidden MDM platform through proxy servers. likely your ios interface you are seeing is shi**ty clone of 18.**. i've been through routers, computers and phones. this day and age there are many zero click exploits going around. don't listen to the people saying it costs 500,000 dollars for one ..... do some research... unfortunately there is no fix. learn to live with it.

Issue may be a place holder but does not address the account number assigned with associate account. Apple needs to address who the accounts belong to, disable unknown screen time devices and address the unauthorized domains registered to apple attached to my mail.

Gives me an associate account number and Device Name:20012607VMMDM

Device Serial Number:********N72J

Domain:Apple.com

Would love to know this device full serial number and why my Voicemail has a MDM

Journey ids-which is a new thing.

Download your data people. Image-only one device is mine and recognized as a name.

I have also been dealing with this same issue forever now. I have been through many devices and new accts and I can’t get rid of it. Apple has attempted to assist me an all they have done is had me factory reset my phone which seemed to make it worse. I am 100% sure my screen is constantly being watched as my passwords are constantly compromised and my find my and locations are constantly being turned on after I turn them off. I am sorry everyone is dealing with this also but glad it’s not just me. People make me feel like I’m losing my mind lol

I also when they updated to iOS 18 and implemented RCS messaging was locked out of my device forcing me to restart from scratch but my phone still updates to a backup that was not supposed to be saved in my iCloud for I turned off iCloud backup and deleted it (still keeping my photos) and how I know this is in the settings under general and name when I purchased my device it has said iPhone 13 Pro Max the type of iPhone that I purchased, but after my ex needed to use it, he gave it back to me. I was locked out of my password app and under the general section in settings it now said just iPhone, but when it Rebooted after having to erase my phone because I was locked out, it said Sarah’s iPhone, which I had previously named it when I still had iCloud back up before I thought I had deleted it, but apparently Apple and or these malicious servers kept These kept a copy of that back up on their servers. I pick up my phone. My camera is on quite often. Also Apple and my carrier have me under my original IMEI, but in my general section in Settings, it says I am on IMEI2…. I am so sick and tired of feeling as though my privacy is invaded daily anyone else experiencing this?

Recent iPhones sold in the US have 2 eSIM cards labeled IMEI and IMEI2. The IMEI number(s) are burned into an EPROM and can only be changed by replacing the entire logic board, an expensive component if not replaced under warranty.

The name of an iPhone and other Apple devices you own share there names with the other devices. For example, one time l had to use 3 iPhones. I named the iPhones and it was a convenience to me so I could tell them apart. For example my Hotspot and AirDrop remember device names.
