The fourth generation iPad Pro 12.9" differs in its physical dimensions, from the sixth generation iPad Pro (M2), in its overall thickness:

As such, a fitted case designed for the sixth generation iPad Pro M2 may not properly fit the [slightly] thinner fourth generation.
