iPhone 14 battery draining quickly despite normal temperature and no power-saving mode

Hello, I have an iPhone 14, and the battery is draining quickly, even though the phone’s temperature is normal and I don’t use it while charging. I also don’t play games. Additionally, I haven’t turned on the power-saving mode. Why is this happening? What could be causing it? It was at 98% recently, and now, in less than a month, it’s already at 96%. I’m using the original charger.

There have several recent updates, and each update keeps the phone busy for a day or so after the update is installed.

When you mention the 98% to 96% Battery Health, you might not be aware that Apple always rounds down any tenths of a percent. So, the battery might have been at 98.1% and that would display as 98%. If the recent updates kept the battery busy, the actual percentage might have been 96.9%, but this will display as 96%.

So, while it looks like your battery dropped 2%, it may have really only dropped a fraction over 1%.

Bottom line.....nothing to be concerned about. Your battery is doing just fine.
