I have purchased an iphone 16 pro
it’s still sealed and have not been opened yet
i searched the serial number and it says the activation status is active
is that mean it has been used before??

Depends, if you have purchased this device from 3rd then at times 3rd will activate by using serial # & only admin{Apple} can review this n confirm!
If you purchased it from Apple or an Apple Authorized Retailer, it should be new and unopened. The only way to find out is to open it, where it should bring you to the Hello screen.
