iphone 16 pro automatically decreaing brightness

Decreaseing to 50% brightness while playing games on outside while the brightness is full tha brightness was up to 50% only the screen was not capable to see in sun light please fix it

iPhone 15 Pro screen going dark when displaying bright content My iPhone 15 Pro’s screen goes dark whenever something bright happens on screen, even with reduce white point turned off. Please help. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

IPhone screen brightness dimmed suddenly and won’t get any brighter I cant seem to find anyone who is in the same situation as mine. Before you ask, yes, i’ve went to settings and done the most recommended actions, such as turning it off and on, turning off the auto-brightness, display zoom, etc. and it didnt dim because it was in the sun or overheated or overused or that I have an old Iphone. My IPhone 14 screen went extremely dim out of nowhere, I was on the homescreen about to unlock it and suddenly it dimmed by 40%. It usually dims when theres tons of light outside, but i was indoors and under bad lighting. When i went to turn it up, it was already at full brightness. Usually it adjusts after a while but it has stayed extremely dim. Even now, it’s like 1/3 of its usual brightness and it is set to full brightness. I have tried everything and have scoured the internet and it seems like nobody has the same issue. I need help.

In direct sunlight the screen can overheat, so it dims to reduce the heat load and prevent the phone from shutting down to protect itself.
