Viewing .eps in Macos Ventura

You can't. Support for EPS has been removed.

It's a nearly dead format. It is a fully obsolete format. Convert any EPS files you have to an updated format that will show thumbnails.

Raster EPS to TIFF, PSD, or other format you prefer.

Vector EPS to PDF, or Illustrator .ai (which is actually a PDF)

I just found another source of EPS download files: Licensing and Trademarks - Apple Developer

I didn't check them all, but the "Download from Mac App Store" buttons are in both SVG and EPS. The Mac logos are only available in EPS. 😄

EPS in the Finder and Apple's Preview is dead support now. If you want to see EPS files in an application, try the freeware XNViewMP application. This is simply a bandaid until you convert the EPS files to another suggested format.

I really don't understand why they're clinging to this format. Its worst problem is that it doesn't support transparency. Why would you use or want EPS when a PDF will save your files with transparency, and can be brought into any modern page layout app just as easily as an EPS?
