Apple TV Music app missing music

Why does the Apple TV Music app on my Samsung Smart TV only show the music I’ve purchased and downloaded from the iTunes Store - but not all the other music I can play in my Music app on my iPhone 15 Plus?

I have the latest iOS 18.3.1 and the latest update on my Apple TV.

I do not have a subscription to Apple Music.

the app likely can't access music you synced to your iphone and or music you have a computer with a shared lib which the iphone could access

it's the same with the homepod from apple really, unless one airplay 2 music to it, if your samsung tv support airplay 2 then you can do it that way
