I typically do a great job at managing my money and staying aware of my account balance. However, my AppleWallet balance seems to change when I haven’t purchased anything. When I check my transaction history, no receipt is present. This card isn’t attached to any subscription or auto pay. Has anyone else experienced this?

Apple Wallet holds no balance in and of itself.
Apple Wallet holds cards, passes, tickets and IDs.
Apple Cash may hold a balance which can be used to make purchases in the App and iTunes Stores.
Is that what you aren referring to?
Or do you mean your Apple Account balance, which may be added to the Wallet App as a type of card, and is used for purchases and subscriptions in the iTunes & App Stores?
There is no such thing as an Apple Wallet or Apple Pay balance. Are you confusing Apple Wallet with Apple Cash or Apple Account balances?
