Apple Wallet stopped showing real-time transaction data

Since I first started using Apple Wallet, pretty much all my transactions have appeared under the card I used to pay within seconds. Some took a little longer. Since the last update, I can only get data by connecting to my card provider and this is always out of date by 1 or 2 days. I now have no record of transactions made yesterday if I want to check them. It has been very useful over the years, so I can't understand why this has been taken from us. To be honest, I don't want my wallet clogged up with my card providers balance and usage data that seems to come with the so-called latest transactions. Why does Apple keep changing things, apparently for the sake of it, without checking the effect on users?

There are several threads on this issue in the community. One option that’s worked for some community members is removing cards from Wallet app, and then re-provision the cards by adding them back into the Wallet app.

A variation of that is once the cards are removed, delete the app, restart your iPhone and then download a fresh copy from the App Store. This has also worked for some community members.

Transaction data is not stored on Apple’s computers. The transaction data is supplied by your bank or in some cases payment network operator and not Apple.

Another possibility is use of a VPN. Do you use a VPN or ever had VPN software on your device?

If your bank supports it, they can provide enhanced transaction data in near real time.
