I have an iPhone 16, just updated to iOS 18, now I can’t send mms to android. Mobile data is on, mms enabled, photos and messages turned in for mobile data. Any suggestions?

Good news. Decided to contact AT&T tech support again this morning as all indications were that it was a carrier issue and not an iPhone issue. My daughters android was getting MMS from other iPhones.
Got a tech who understood the issue. I asked if there was a way to push a carrier update to my phone. Gave him my IMEI and my ICCID numbers and he ran diagnostics. Solution- he “reprovisioned the service”. Took a few minutes but all is back to working order. YEAH!!!!
The Text message dot RCS and Text message dot SMS in the message bubble is the indicator.
so my question remains does android have to allow RCS. Shouldn’t MMS work if android doesn’t use RCS. It must have been working like that before iOS 18.3.

I also have same issue. Deleting VPN profile didn’t help. Why can’t I mms my daughter’s pixel phone since iOS 18.2.
Her phone is Pixel 7a; GoogleFi which uses T-Mobile and is on Android 15
Yes I do. I have done the hard reset. Network reset. Tried everything I found by Googling. I was hoping iOS 18.3.2 update would fix but nope.
I have tried everything. Apple screwed up my MMS with iOS 18.3. I’m hoping they see all the issues everyone is having and send out an update to resolve issue.
Thx. Should is the operative word. Since iOS 18.3 it’s stopped working for MMS to my daughter.

I agree with you and I did qualify my statement. Not a permanent fix whatsoever. I plan to call my carrier soon.
