How can I bypass Face ID for Stolen Device Protection on iPhone?

the stolen device protection randomly was turned on although i had never turned it on or off and face id to open my phone was disabled, when i want to turn off the stolen device protection it requires face id, i tried so many angles so many hairstyles and makeup also without makeup even cleaned the camera and removed the screen protector but it still declines, i want to reset my phone it still wont reset because either needs my face id but everytime, it declines and i just can’t do anything even my photos are locked with face id, I don’t really know what to do now my phone had never been stolen i’m always careful about it, this is my phone and it has not been stolen how can i prove that!? Please help me

In that case, I would recommend you get service for your Face ID at the Genius Bar.

Once you have removed your iPhone from Find My, Stolen Device Protection should be turned off. Once you confirm that, you can turn Find My back on from the app.

If you are trying to turn off Stolen Device Protection when Face ID is not working, there are two options to try.

First, when you are prompted with Face ID, if there is a Try Again button, keep tapping that and failing Face ID until you are prompted with entering your passcode. Thus turning off Stolen Device Protection.

Second, if there is no Try Again button, you have to log onto iCloud.com/find on the web then select your iPhone from the list and Remove From Account. That doesn’t require Face ID and will turn off Activation Lock (Stolen Device Protection). Then you can turn Find My back on after and Stolen Device Protection will remain turned off.

Note that there may be a 1 hour security delay when turning Stolen Device Protection off.

i understood what you said, i mean i just sent the important things i need from my phone to my mother in case i need to do something that will leads to removing all the data from my phone, i clicked on remove first but then erased, find my is turned on due to stolen device protection and both wouldnt turn off

You need to do this on the web at iCloud.com/find. It shouldn’t prompt you with the Stolen Device Protection there, so you are likely in the Find My app, which you shouldn’t be doing. Also, do not click Erase. Only click Remove.

So after 1 hour the stolen device protection should be completely turned off??

I believe so. Start the 1 hour countdown and we’ll see what happens. Once that is complete and Stolen Device Protection is turned off, you can turn Find My back on. You can do that in Settings > [tap your name] > Find My > Turn on Find My iPhone. Stolen Device Protection will remain turned off.

I erased my device from it idc what is in my phone i just transferred everything to another phone and the will transfer it back here i just want to turn stolen device protection off, and it still didnt turn off and requires a face id, would i have to wait for 1 hour as you said if I understood you the right way or i have to do something else?

You are not erasing or transferring your iPhone data. You are rather removing your iPhone from Find My. Your data will still remain on there. Note that there are two options in iCloud.com Find My, “Removing” and “Erasing” your iPhone. You will want to choose “Remove.” Then your Activation Lock will be turned off, and thus also Stolen Device Protection. You can after turn Find My back on and Stolen Device Protection will remain turned off.

I have explained multiple times, the advice should work. Please try it again. If you need further support, I would advise you to contact Apple Support. The advice I have been suggesting was given to me by them.
