How to download QuickTime Player on Windows 11?

Download of quick time player on to Windows 11 without success. Installer is on system. Any suggestions?

You can't. The last Windows version was 7.7.9 back in 2009. It was found to have a flaw that allowed malware to execute while playing QuickTime videos.


Rather than fixing it, Apple immediately informed Windows users to uninstall it. There was never another new version after that.


Windows Media Player should be able to handle just about any video format you want to watch. Otherwise, there's the free VLC Player.
