Thank you for your reply.
I purchased a program to make animations today and when I was installing it, I received a warning that if my Windows 11 does not have Quite Time in it that program will not work in my computer.
Seems like that program is pretty old and still expecting a an app that is no longer being made, probably to access its codecs for whatever formats it saves the animations in. No apps for Windows made in at least the last 10 years should require QuickTime in any capacity.
So I presume that I should install the (Quick Time Pro) for Windows then?
You can't. QuickTime Pro for Windows is no longer being sold by Apple in any capacity and can no longer be unlocked or registered with a valid key even if you had one because Apple no longer validates those keys for activation. They discontinued it many years ago. You can try to install the regular free Quicktime from the link and see if that's enough for the animation program, but Quicktime for Windows has significant vulnerabilities which went unpatched after it was discontinued, so use at your own risk.
Thank you again. I will click on that link you gave me.
Try that and see if it works.
Alternatively, just try installing the Windows Program without Quicktime and see if it works or not.
