How can I update iOS 17 on my iPhone X?

Your iPhone X can only be updated to iOS 16.7.10, and no further. It has also reached the end of its iOS software update support. You may want to start looking into purchasing a newer iPhone that supports a newer, still supporting iOS.

First of all......iOS 17 is no longer available, so you will be looking at iOS 18.

Since you will be looking at a new phone, it would make sense to look for a model that can handle 5G connections. That would be an iPhone 12 or above model.

If the budget allows, we would recommend an iPhone 15 Pro or higher model.
