Hi, I have a small greyish mark on the power button of my iPhone 15 Pro. It looks like two tiny spots, and I cant seem to remove them with a wet cloth. The phone has had a case on it for most of the time, and I suspect it might be some kind of manufacturing issue. Could you advise if this is something covered under warranty, and if its possible to fix it without replacing the button? Thank you.

You can show it to Apple, but they will almost assuredly tell you this is cosmetic and not covered under warranty. If the button doesn't operate as it should, that would be something else. But a small grayish mark isn't likely making the button not work as designed.

I haven't seen others comment about such a mark, so I wouldn't say this is a known issue or why it happened to you. But it likely was caused by the case you are using. As to how to clean it, all I can suggest is a slightly microfibre cloth, but if it doesn't work, just put it back in the case OR get a different case and don't worry about it.
Thanks for your response. I understand that this appears to be a cosmetic mark, but Im wondering why this happened after 5 months of using a high-quality protective case. Is this a known issue with the iPhone 15 Pro in Titanium Gray? Also, is there a recommended way to safely clean it without damaging the coating?
