How do I enable sleep apnea notification on my Apple Watch?

I am located outside of the US. I purchased a iwatch10 mainly for the sleep apnea notification. The app shows that it isn't supported in my region. Is this detection based on where I am physically located or on my apple store location? If Apple store, if I change my location to a supported country, will this grant me access to the sleep apnea notification? Thank you.

Apple device functions are dependent on the country in which you are a legal resident and have registered your Apple Account.

You cannot change the country for your Apple Account on a whim. Doing so is complicated and requires you to be honest. You will find important information about changing your account region/country at this link;

I didn't say changing the country for your account was dishonest or sinister. But there have been plenty of folks who come here and post that they've lied about where they live to set up their account and then don't know why issues develop.

I gave a link to the info required to change your account's region. It's complicated and has strict requirements for doing it. Such as zero-balancing your account, canceling all subscriptions and allowing them to run out, providing a payment method for the country, etc. Also, folks report that they can only change the country for their account every 90 days.

Many who are dual-nationals create a separate Apple Account for both counties.

There is nothing dishonest or sinister about changing the country for one's Apple account, especially in the case of a dual resident such as myself who needs access to his apps in both countries. In the situation where a function of an app is not available in a certain region, my question was whether changing the Apple address to another country, the U.S., would in fact give me this access. Or, is the determination made based on other factors such as where the device was purchased and/or the country where the connection is being made. Thank you.
