Sleep Apnea “This feature is no longer available in your region” US region

I just got my Apple Watch Series 10 and when I attempt to setup sleep apnea it is grayed out to setup. Location Services shows my region as United States. When I go into the Health app and Health Checklist, sleep apnea is not even shown. The watch is attached to my iPhone 12 mini running iOS 18.0. The watch is an upgrade from series 5 edition ceramic. Has anyone else had this issue and got sleep apnea setup to become available?

The Sleep Apnea setup suddenly became available. The only thing I did is remove my old Series 5 Edition Ceramic watch from the Watch app and power the old watch back on and then turned it off again. I wonder if you have two or more watches in the Watch app and at least one does not work with the sleep apnea setup, it is not available.

Apple Watch series 10 Hermes bought at Hermes store in Miami Florida, USA. The sleep apnea feature is grayed in the watch app of the phone mentioning not available in your region!! WTF! Apple has to fix that.

i do have also a ultra 2 black, and the feature is available.

seems there is a problem with the Hermes version most likely where they will have to release a software upgrade…

I have heard this is a common problem facing some users. Users in the UK and USA have reported problems with sleep apnea but it appears it’s not all users which might suggest a problem with a certain iPhone model.

I have also heard - though it has not been confirmed - that apple are aware of the issues some users are experiencing and have escalated it for a resolution. You may just have to wait until this comes in the form of a software update in the hopefully not to distant future.
