How do I separate two phone numbers connected to different iPhones under the same iCloud account?

I have an iphone xr that was used with Tracfone and got an iphone 13 through verizon. My husband has recently needed a new phone so we set up the xr back with tracfone for the time being. When I had the xr, my phone number (ending in 48) was transferred to the new 13 phone. When activating the xr back for my husband, we put a new phone number to it. Now both phone numbers are connected to each phone and we are both getting all the texts and notifications that I am only to get on my phone. How do we deconnect them in the account so that only my phone gets my texts and notifications and not his? Both phones are under my icloud. Thank you for any help

And that.......is the problem. Every users needs their own Apple ID.
