Older iPods Software Reset from Apple Silicon Macs (M4 currently)?

So we found an old Shuffle and I want to reset it before I sell or give it. When I go to the page for downloads all I see is a download for a windows machine. Is there no love for us folks who love old and new? I'm going to be doing the same for a Nano shortly. Perfect little pocket recorder.

Thanks? URLs? Towel to cry into?

Thanks all.

On a Mac, you use Finder (which should already be installed on your machine) to manage iPods.

Note that neither the Shuffle nor the nano contain any personal information, so erasing the content of the iPod is not essential in that regard (unlike an iPod Touch or an iPhone). Legally, to comply with the copyright laws, you should remove any media (music etc) that is on them as you do not have the right to sell it or give it away. There would also be an onus on the new owner to delete any media (music etc.) that is on an iPod they've just bought or been given.
