airpod pro 2 (usb-c case) sounds worse than airpod pro 2 (lightning case)

I recently purchased the AirPod pro 2 (usb-c charging case) and also still have my AirPod pro 2 (lightning case) and my AirPod pro 2 (lightning case) sounds better than the ones with usb-c case. Also my AirPod pro 2 (usb-c case) keeps cutting out when it hears certain sounds unlike the ones with lightning case. I’ve went to the Apple Store already, it has passed all the tests there and I also sent them out to a diagnostic center and they “couldn’t recreate the issue” and they’re being sent back. The pro 2’s with lightning case have more bass, sound crisper, and don’t cut out with certain sounds. I’m at a loss. I’ve tried everything as far as settings and both pros are on the same firmware. What else can I do besides return them?
