Hi,
this is been happening for a while but my right AirPod doesn’t work properly as I can’t get one song in and it is dead. It last for about 30-45 seconds. This is getting annoying as I have tried everything such as cleaning them, restarting them and checking if the sounds are equal to both ears.
the AirPods in question are the 1st gen.
so basically I’m asking if anyone knows how to fix this issue.

That early model AirPod is almost 8 years old. They can't really be fixed, only replaced. You could replace just one, but that would still leave you with the other AirPod, which is very old. You would be better off purchasing a newer model AirPod. Some third party retailers have them on sale now.
