I'm setting up a new iPhone but following the recommendation to set up WLAN I can't get onto the internet. How do I change to WiFi?

WLAN and Wi-Fi are the same thing.

Power off your Wi-Fi router

Wait a minute

Power up the Wi-Fi router again

WLAN stands for Wireless Local Area Network that links two or more devices using wireless communication to form a LAN within a limited area such as a home, school, campus, or office building. A WLAN is a network system wherein Wi-Fi is one of the most common technologies in this system. Therefore, WLAN includes Wi-Fi.

The term that shows up will depend on the language selected for the device. Some localizations of the english language will use WLAN instead of Wifi.

For any further questions, contact your WLAN/WiFi provider.

Giulio
