I'm not sure if this is a Macbook issue. The HP printer app appears to freeze as it "calculates layout" of the calendar and then shuts down. I tried deleting and reinstalling the printer. That did not work. Thoughts?

since Sonoma A new print app/ icon called “Print Center “ replaces all of the old printer icons. Everything works as expected.
In Print Center, use the "Printer -> Add to Dock" menu.
