How to stop drag acting like a double click in Finder on Mac?

A continuation of the Drag acts like double click in finder thread.

This was driving me nuts, too. But I think I found out the reason why. In System Settings > Trackpad > i disabled this setting for haptic feedback and I'm not experiencing this issue anymore.

Yep, that is the magic setting if you cannot train yourself to deal with the new click behavior. The new clicking behavior when that Force Click & Haptic feedback setting is enable is just too much for me as well. I cannot do the half pressure click to do the drag & drop even when I'm taking my time to be very careful...very frustrating.

Thanks for sharing that tip.
