I updated mi iphone to the latest iOS through my computer and after it finished ir said " your iphone has been updated and is restarting. Please leave your Iphone connected it will appear in the sidebar it restarts." and nothing happens it keeps turning on and off with the apple logo. what do i do next

Try a Forced Restart on the phone. Follow the instructions very carefully, as this is a bit tricky. (Hint.....ignore the "slider" when it appears and keep holding the Side button in until the Apple logo appears. This might take another 10-20 seconds.)
