I hate the touch volume bar. The only time I have ever used it is when I accidentally turn it all the way up and destroy my ear drums. I like my ear drums. I enjoy having them. There needs to be an option to disable this thing. Thats all.

As far as I know, there currently is no way to remove it. Apple always welcomes your feedback which you can provide below, so they know what users want that can possibly be added in a future update.

Swipe down from the top-right hand corner to open the Control Center, tap the + icon in the top-left hand corner, then tap the minus on top of the Volume Bar to remove it.
