What is the best KVM to use with Mac mini M4?

Recently got the Mac mini 4 and I already have an older Macbook pro 13 arm. Wanted to get a KVM to switch between them. Found out the mid $300 range and up. Which is the best. Or should I simply get a dock. I only have one monitor to share between the two and it only has on one hdmi. It also has occurred to me to buy and Hdmi switch and see if I can just bounce around that way. I don't mind spending on a dock/KVM ect... but I don't want to waste money when I don't need to. Ideas and Thoughts? and Suggestions on best KVM? or ditch KVM and go dock.

#KVM #Compatibility.

The "best" KVM would be the one that meets all of your goals for using one. Sorry, that doesn't narrow down which ones to recommend as we really don't know all of the devices you will be connecting to this KVM. Good KVMs are not cheap, but you literally get what you pay for.

FWIW, there are KVMs, Docks, & combo KVM/Docks out there to choose from One suggestion is to start with an Internet search for something like: Best KVM & Docks for the M4 Mac mini in 2025. You should come up with a number of articles to review to give you some ideas on what "challenges" you may come across in making a purchasing decision.
