Request for Warranty Repair for Damaged iPhone 16

My friends iPhone 16, Due to a drop, pixels on the screen are affected. The phone is still under warranty. Is it possible to use the warranty for repair?

Probably not. Accidental damage is not a manufacturer’s defect in materials or workmanship.


If you friend purchased Apple Care + it may cover accidental damage caused by dropping an iPhone. Apple employee or a representative of an Apple Authorized Service Provider will need to examine the iPhone and determine the coverage the iPhone is eligible for.
