It is possible for you to try another power supply and cable? Maybe a friend nearby?
If the problem goes away with the other supply and cable, the phone is OK, but you need to replace your power supply and cable.
If the friend's power supply and cable does not help, then your iPhone is heading for service at an authorized Apple service shop. If the phone is 3-4+ years old, a new battery might do the trick.
