Why is my Safari browsing history not displaying?

Does anyone else find their browsing history blank unless they switch to either the Reading List or Bookmarks tab and back to the history tab when it’s then found to suddenly show the websites you have visited?

This seems to happen when browsing after clearing all of the previous history records.

Does the same happen to you? It’s not a lag issue, just doesn’t display unless you switch between and back.
