Is there a small iPhone model with good battery life?

I had an original iPhone SE. I loved it, it’s 4.87 x 2.31 x 0.3in dimensions fit nicely in my pocket.

The battery died, I got an SE2, it falls out of my pocket. I can just about deal with this, but then the 16e gets bigger again.

Now I can understand that - to extend battery life - you need room for a bigger battery, but honestly, if I want a small phone with good battery life and long term support, do I need to leave Apple, or is there a model which isn’t piling on the pounds?!
