Please note the difference between AirPrint and general wireless printing. An AirPrint-supported printer can be used without additional drivers/apps, while a non-AirPrint model would require drivers or special apps.

About AirPrint - Apple Support

Also, see Connect a printer to your network using an AirPort Time Capsule or AirPort base station – Apple Support (UK):

"Note: Connecting a printer to an AirPort Time Capsule or an AirPort base station doesn’t make it an AirPrint-enabled printer."

Regarding instructions for the connection of a WPS printer (example):

https://cdsassets.apple.com/live/6GJYWVAV/user/locale/en-gb/ma1645_airport_time_capsule_80211ac_setup.pdf#p13

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) allows a simplified connection of a wireless printer (supporting WPS) to a Wi-Fi router. The router must also support WPS. There are basically two WPS methods, one push-button variant and one using a PIN.

A Samsung ML-1670 (mentioned in your other posts) is a USB-only printer (no WPS support).

In addition to Jan Hedlund's reply, your Samsung printer does not appear to be compatible with your Apple base station. The following is a (dated 2015) iFelix article that provided what USB-only or wireless printers were compatible. I do not know of any updated lists.

Ref: https://www.ifelix.co.uk/tech/8013.html

As Jan has already pointed out, WPS is a security method to connect a wireless printer to the base station, which is not the case for your USB printer. That printer would need to be attached directly to the USB port on your Time Capsule.

The key for printer compatibility mainly depends on the printer's adherence to standard Bonjour (Zero Configuration Networking) and class-compliant USB printing protocols.

What that means is when a USB-only printer is connected directly to an Apple Time Capsule, the Time Capsule acts as a print server using Bonjour to advertise the printer on the network. This allows Mac clients (and some Windows PCs with Bonjour installed) to discover and use the printer without manual IP configuration.

Try the following:

Power off the printer

Connect the printer to the USB port on the Time Capsule

Power up the printer

On your Mac:

Open System Preferences or System Settings

Open Printers and Scanners

Click the + (plus) icon at the bottom of the printer list (older Macs) or click Add Printer (newer Macs)

Click on the name of the printer in the next screen to highlight it

Click Add or Add Printer at the lower right of the window

Click File / Print and select the name of the printer from the list at the top of the window

Click Print Any luck?

You should be able to print over the wireless network.

Sorry, can't help with Windows.

Going to be a bit tricky to try to print from the iPhone or iPad......because your printer is not AirPrint compatible as it stands.
