Hi. I have multiple photos I want to transfer over and keep them in either my iPad photo app, or I also have the Amazon photo album app. Please, how to do this?
flickr say to go to camera roll, select then copy the url link. I’ve done all of that, but then the only place I seem to be able to put them is into my Files app. And then I can’t seem to move them from there either!
help please!

How much free space do you have? If I go to Settings>General>iPad Storage, mine says "193GB of 512GB used." What does yours say?
Did you actually get the pictures into the Files app? From there it's Share>Save Image. What happens?

I've selected 5 pictures and chosen "Share."
You're pretty low on storage. Saving from Files will make a new copy of the pictures, so you will have imported double copies.

Re storage. I’ve bought more on/in iCloud? It says there that I’ve used 6 of 50GB. So that should be ok?

Do you use "Optimize Storage" for Photos?
It sounds like for a while you're OK with storage on iCloud. On the iPad there needs to be room for the system to move files around, so 60 GB would be really pushing it. You have room for maybe 1000 pictures, which might be 10GB.
You can keep pictures on an external drive and view them on the iPad, but you can't edit them from an external drive.
If you set a device to "Optimize Storage," then Photos may store only smaller images on the device and rely on iCloud to keep the full sized images. You can quickly scroll through and see all your pictures , because the screen sized images are right there locally. And if you want to edit or print a picture, Photos will reach out to iCloud to get a full sized image for you to work with.Your optimized Library may take up less as little as 10% of the space of a fully downloaded Library.
Great! If the pictures on your iPad are precious to you, be sure to download them from iCloud.com to a computer or other storage from time to time. Since you're using "Optimize," the full originals may not be on the iPad for backup. And since iCloud is a synchronization service, accidentally deleting a picture on your iPad will delete it from iCloud, so that's not a real backup. Of course, deleted pictures can be found in Recently Deleted for 30 days-- it's best not to defeat that safety!

ive got all the photos in the Files app, yes. And it goes to Share but then only gives options like FB, individual people etc.
