Stuck setting up new iPad for child

totally as expected useless apple software .

wish the rest of my family would switch to android.

gets stuck with save restrictions . ignores all button presses .

except press power button and start again .

3 hours later no option except to spend another couple of hours in the apple store.

how can you make such useless untested software. i am a software engineer this stuff fails absolute basic basic true path testing.

You might need an apple phone if you want to make a supervised account for your kid. If you don't have a apple phone, you will have to make an unsupervised account.

kids mother has apple phone and ipad and family account

eventually after 2 attempts and complete reset

partially completed on 3ed attempt .

partially as no attempt to download or transfer apps from other ipad or cloud.
