Why did the ghost emoji send itself on a text message

mysteriously a ghost emoji has appeared in the emoji. What I don’t understand is the ghost emoji had decided to send itself in one of my text messages where I use the emoji a lot. It has only happened recently. I don’t think emoji should send itself. Can you help?
