Not all widgets support stacking on iOS — but most Apple native widgets and many third-party app widgets do. To stack widgets, they must:

  1. Be the same size (small, medium, or large).
  2. Support stacking — some third-party widgets don’t, even if they’re the right size.

You’ll be able to stack Apple’s widgets like:

  • Weather
  • Calendar
  • Reminders
  • Photos
  • Clock
  • Fitness
  • News

Third-party widgets are hit or miss, depending on how the developer implements them. If you drag a widget over another and it doesn’t stack, that’s usually because the app doesn’t support stacking yet.
