Hi can anyone give me a definitive answer for removing over 100gig of system data from my desktop Mac. I have removed caches and checked the library. Thanks in advance.

That data is controlled by the OS. You cannot do much with that. I have found that booting into recovery, erasing the drive and reinstalling the OS and then migrating your data will reduce this number but it will start to increase again over time. I've done this process several times with success.

Also check in your Downloads folder for any disk images that have been used but not deleted.
