How do I fix frozen Photos app on my iPhone 15 Pro Max?

In my iPhone 15 Pro max, the PHOTO app froze while using the AirDrop mode. How can I restore the PHOTO app?

Have you tried a forced restart?

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

This is different from a simple Power Off.
