Can Siri control my TV via AppleTV?

I use a HomePod Mini as my HomeKit hub. It is located in a different room than my AppleTV. We stream all our Live TV media and use YouTubeTV. Frequently, I watch Live Sports on YTTV. There is a radio station my favorite college team uses for its announcers. I can access that station via iHeart Radio, but the radio and my live stream are not in sync. The TV is ahead of the radio by 30+ seconds. So, it is trial and error using the AppleTV remote to attempt to pause my TV just enough to get in sync with the announcer on the radio. It would be very handy if I could use Siri to be precise in delaying the live stream. For instance, I have gotten within 2 seconds of the announcer by using the remote. But, that last 2 seconds is really difficult to achieve. I'd like to say, "Siri delay my TV stream by 2 seconds."

Is there any way to accomplish this? Can Siri interact with AppleTV in this manner?

So, I asked this exact question on a MacRumors Forum and got several replies, quickly as a matter of fact.

The simplest answer: On the ATV remote, press and hold the microphone button. That activates Siri for the ATV. I discovered that by saying "Rewind x seconds" the live sports action would indeed be delayed by that many seconds. Perfect! So, I will get a stopwatch ready. At a demonstrable point in the game (tip-off, made 3-pointer, etc) I will start the timer and stop it when I hear that point announced on the radio. That number of seconds is the time I need to get "rewinded" via the above method. Done.

UPDATE: I found it takes between 2-3 seconds for the request to be executed. So, subtract 2 seconds from the amount of time you would like to delay because it will take that long for the delay to occur! That will get you really close!

Yes Siri can be used to interact with your Apple TV make sure your Apple TV is on the same Apple Account you can also use HomePods to control Apple TV as well!
