How do I resolve VPN message preventing private wallet app access on iPhone 16 Pro Max?

I am trying to get into a private wallet app on my iphone 16 promax, the app doesn't allow to be used while vpn is on. I switched the vpn off and I deleted it since an error message of using the vpn pops in everytime I try to log into my account on this app. I restarted my phone and delete the vpn and reinstall the private wallet app, but the same message is still received. I have contacted the wallet app and provided a screenshot of the error message received, they message me back that the app is working normally and my account is active and nothing from their side. Any idea how to proceed?

It’s most definitely an app issue. Apple does not have a notification about VPN usage even for their own Wallet app, let alone for third party app. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the third party app. Make sure the VPN profile is deleted as well. Please follow this path,

iPhone > Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > remove all VPN related files.
