Decrease of MTU Setting in iPadOS

Good evening,

We have a relatively complicated network structure and would like to set up a VPN connection to a disaster control vehicle. The connection is established, but the associated website cannot be accessed.

This is usually due to the fact that the MTU size is not allowed to be 1500.

With Windows, I can simply change this setting in the options for the interface. How does this work with iPad OS?

To the best of my knowledge, iPadOS doesn't expose any manual control of network MTU from iPad settings.

Where individual Apps to not explicitly configure an MTU for their network traffic, defaulting to 1500 bytes, packet fragmentation should automatically occur at the OSI network layer
