Itunes on a new computer

Usually I can work things out but now I am very frustrated with Apple.

I have a new PC BUT with the old hard drive from the old PC included....this is where ALL my music etc is.

Firstly Itunes on the PC would not see the ipad. I eventually got the PC to sort of see it and sync BUT not in Itunes.

Now I have this ***** apple music program which is supposed to see my music but all I have is podcasts...which I neither watch nor save.

Where the heck is my music....or do I have to buy an Android.

I have reloaded itunes on the Ipad.

I have reloaded Itunes on the PC....but ended up with Apple Music which I DON'T want.

I cannot see the ipad now in "portable devices" on the PC.

AND I am running out of hair.

Hopefully someone can explain.

Windows, Windows 10

Remove Apple Music, Apple Devices, and Apple TV in order for iTunes to function as intended. Press and hold down shift as you launch iTunes and use the Choose Library... option to select your iTunes Library.itl database in your old iTunes folder.
